I know you’re beginning to formulate plans for Thanksgiving next week. And I hope you take some time to stop and thank God for even being able to celebrate this holiday. And if you have some extra time and would like to know more about why we celebrate Thanksgiving, I encourage you to read the real story of what the Pilgrims went through to get here to America.

It’s an eye-opening and spirit-lifting tale of heroic proportions. Fortunately we can celebrate our faith, hope, and love without much worry of whether or not half our families will die this winter.
