I’m not sure who needs to read or hear this. Hopefully it’s not you. But consider these questions. Are you at the bottom rung of life’s ladder? Or are you on the mountaintop of momentum? Either way, it’s important to remember this one truism. This, too, shall pass.
Yeah, great or awful, this, too, shall pass.
This life you’re living right now doesn’t last forever. So, it never ceases to amaze me that so many people waste so much of it thinking of ways to hurt others. Especially when it be so much better to think of ways to help others. And you never know when someone might need your hug, or your words, or your listening ears. Because they might think you’re THE one who understands them. And you can help them to discover they’re never alone.
When you do, here’s what else you’ll be doing. You’ll be doing a little something (that’s actually a huge something) known as storing up treasures in Heaven. And those treasures in Heaven last a very long time. Even longer than a politician’s speech.
Don’t worry if you see others doing more or better than you. Because you can bet there’s almost always someone else doing less or worse. You just gotta be the best YOU.
And there’s enough work in that to take you through your whole life.
But the good news is, you don’t have to do it alone.
Because your Creator is available at all hours of the day or night. Jesus sent His Spirit to be with you through your whole journey here on planet Earth. How cool is that?!
And when things look their worst, He’ll help you remember this, too, shall pass. AND it might even be more important to talk to Him when your life is a picture of perfections. Because He’ll help you remember this, too, shall pass. But most of all you’ll know He’ll never leave you nor forsake you.
It’s only for a little while our time here on the earth.
It’s only for a little while, it’s true.
No matter what you see and do while you are in this world
It’s only for a little while you do.
