Elgielene and I never had kids. Not because we didn’t want them. But there were complications. And that’s another story I’m not gettin’ into right now. But I’ve had somewhere around 30 nieces and nephews to observe. So, I’ve seen enough silly things kids do to fill up an album.
And I DID fill up an album about the silly things kids do.
A few of those songs were named after stores who used to carry my CD’s of music for kids. And one of those was called “Apple Doodles,” and it was definitely about those silly things kids do. Like smearing peanut butter and jelly on their clothes. And gettin’ bubblegum stuck in their hair. Or annoying the adults with their water guns.
Yeah, that’s all in the Apple Doodles song. And it’s just one of ten songs on the “Kiddin’ Around” collection of fun kids music. I used to only sell the CD. But last year (2020) I compiled the lyrics into a book…which is also a coloring book and drawing book…and published the book on Amazon.
The book description there says…
