Men and Women Are Not Equal
“Well, Tony just jumped off the deep end again. Probably gonna tell us how and why men are more important than women.” Yeah, right. That’s exactly what I’m gonna do. Because I’ve never valued the beauty, creativity, love, and emotional connection women possess in vast quantities. And I’ve certainly never personally connected with any of them. Because, well…I’m a man. How am I supposed to do that? Of course, I’m being facetious and sarcastic. So, I’ll just clear this up by saying men and women are not equal. [powerpress_player]
“Honey, he just said it again. He tricked us and then repeated that thing about men and women.”
OK, I’ll really clear it up this time. When I talk about the inequality between the sexes, I’m not talking about value. I mean, we’re not the same. Never have been. Never will be. And I’ve always valued the difference. Women have much more capacity for beauty. And their beauty is an awesome indicator of how much God loves us men. I’ve talked about this before, but here’s some more.
Some people try to erase the lines between the sexes. And for some strange and twisted reason (and I know what that reason is…do you?) they’d like for us to believe gender is assigned at birth.
Yeah, I got that right out of multiple articles this past week. And one place was an article about cardiovascular health problems linked to stress. You wouldn’t think that would be an area where gender would be so confusing an issue. But check out these excerpts from two sentences: “Studies show that cardiovascular health problems linked to stress might be particularly pronounced in people assigned female at birth.” AND “Work stress definitely affects female-bodied people too.”
People assigned female at birth? AND female-bodied people? Can you believe it’s so difficult for them to just say girl? Or woman? What do they envision? Certain doctors in maternity wards handling out gender certificates?
Talk about high-stress heart issues.
When you can’t bring yourself to admit what your eyes, ears, and science clearly show you, you have a heart issue. You’ve hardened your heart (and all its arteries) to the love of God. His design. And the fact He loves us so much, He made us different so we could more deeply and intimately enjoy our relationships.
No. Men and women are not equal. And why would any of God’s more beautiful creatures (women) wish to lower themselves down to where we men are? Why not enjoy the pedestal? But then, hey, if sameness is what you want, change your own oil and flat tires.
I’m grateful and thankful God made us different.
Creative and caring, it’s so magnificent
How well He designed us to be women and men.
So, vive la différence. Can I get an Amen?
The wonderful diversity in the design of male and female is another example of how life has Rhyme and Reason because made you.
