Happiness and trust go hand in hand. And if you haven’t found that to be true, then I wonder where you put your trust. Or I wonder if you’re truly happy.
Because I know where the perfect happiness and trust connection is.
But it doesn’t just fall out of the sky and land on your head or in your lap. No. You gotta look for it. And you gotta develop it. And you gotta learn more and more about it. Because the happiness and trust I’m talkin’ about is found in only one place.
Your Creator.
Yeah, that’s right. I said YOUR Creator. And that’s because the Truth doesn’t depend on whether or not you believe it. The Truth is, was, and always will be the Truth. You can trust Truth to always be.
And that’s where the happiness comes in.
King David (that Jewish king from olden days) wrote about how people, who trust in God, find true happiness. He wrote about it, during a time when he pretended to be crazy, and you can find his words in Psalm 34.
As I read that Psalm, just a little while before I shared this with you, my own song version of it came into my head. So, I recommend you read David’s words. And then mine. And then…be happy.
