A few years ago I wrote about a protoplanet named “Vesta.” And how it might have some clues about how life on Earth might have formed? Scientists discovered some areas of impact on what they call a “minor planet.” And the scientists said this impacts show collisions with carbon rich asteroids. Then, they emphasized that carbon is the essential building block to all life on earth.
Get that?
They say carbon is “the” essential building block to all life on Earth.
But those so-called scientists are wrong. Maybe even dead wrong.
Take this question, for example. Why is there no life in the carbon of a human being who dies? If carbon is the essential building block of life, why doesn’t a carbon-based human still have life in them once they die? After all, they die. But their body, full of carbon, remains. (side note: that’s why it’s called remains)
Anyway…
I’m not a physicist or alchemist or biologist. I’m just a words and music guy. A guy who probably contains as much carbon as anyone in those other professions. But I’m a guy, who like those other guys, has a time limit on my LIFE here on earth.
When my time, here on Earth, is up, my carbon will still be here. So that’s why I say scientists are wrong when they say carbon is the essential building block of life.
My life didn’t arise from and doesn’t depend on carbon.
And real science understands (or seeks to understand) the complexity in human DNA. Because the code in a single human cell provides volumes of information.
And Bam! Now, we’re onto the true building block of life.
It’s information.
But that’s where scientists choose to be dead wrong. Because they realize information isn’t random. Certainly not the kind of information that gets enzymes to form proteins that form cells, etc…
And information implies a coder. Someone who’s more brilliant than the information itself. And therein lies the rub.
Because the only one brilliant enough to provide all the complex information for life on Earth is Jesus. And so-called scientists don’t want any part of Him.
But I wish the ones who trust in carbon would get real. And approach life from the information perspective. Because they’d be better equipped to process that information and build a much better understanding of life, love, and design.
They might even develop a trust in the Designer. And then live forever.
But that can only be found in the information AND love from Jesus.
