A star is born – no, not that one
I believe I’ve seen three out of four versions of the movie, A Star Is Born. I know I’ve seen first one from 1937 starring Janet Gaynor and Fredric March. And I’m pretty sure I saw the second one with Judy Garland and James Mason. And I know I saw the third one, in 1976 starring Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson (didn’t like that one) But I haven’t seen the fourth version starring Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. And I doubt I will. But none of these “stars” are the one I’m talking about right now.

Evolution says a star is born. Not created.
But is that scientific? And if so, has it ever been observed?
The answers are, no. And no.
If you wanna write a fictitious story and make a movie out of it, I have no problem with that. And I’ve watched plenty of movies like that. And enjoyed a lot of them. But if you wanna make up a story about how stars and planets got here, Houston, we have a problem.
Dying stars have been observed. And scientists call those supernovas. Kind of a cool name. But it doesn’t matter what you call ’em. The point is…scientists have seen supernovas. But they’ve never seen the birth of a star. Because that doesn’t happen. And if it did, there’s a little something called “photography” that would have proved it by now.
And here’s a quote from a PhD. from M.I.T. that emphasizes the fallacy of star births.
“If these stars evolved, they should show easily measurable characteristics, such as extremely high rates of rotation and enormous magnetic fields. Because these characteristics are not observed, it seems quite likely these stars did not evolve.”
And do you think I’m just referencing a scientist with a “Christian agenda”? If so, you should know Dr. Walt Brown (the previously mentioned PhD. from M.I.T.) was an evolutionist for much of his life.
But Dr. Brown actually wanted to see where science would lead. Not where he could lead it. And it lead him to God and
Creation.
And there’s no better place to be
For now and for eternity.
